How to Download Medal Clips
Use the official download controls for clips in your library, or save the available source from a public share link.
Download a clip you own
When the clip belongs to you, start inside your Medal library. Owner controls are the most reliable option because they understand the clip’s privacy state and the download choices attached to your account.
- Open your Medal library in the desktop or mobile app.
- Find the clip and open its options menu.
- Choose the available download option.
- Select the destination when your browser or device asks.
If you still have the original recording on your computer, use that file for the highest-quality edit.
Download from a public clip link
A public share URL can expose an MP4 source that a browser can save. Paste the full URL below; Fragbeam checks the page without asking for an account password.
On Chrome or Edge, the result may download immediately or open in a new tab. If it opens, use the video menu. Safari and mobile browsers may place the command inside the Share menu.
When the download does not work
Open the link in a private browser window first. If it requires a login, shows an expiry message, or no longer plays, the clip is not publicly retrievable. Copy the full address again if a messaging app shortened it.
Temporary source errors can also occur when Medal changes page markup or is slow to respond. Wait briefly and retry. Never provide your account password to a third-party downloader.

Can I download my own Medal clips?
Yes. Use the official controls in your Medal library when possible, or save the available public source from the share page.
Why does a Medal clip open instead of download?
Some browsers play MP4 files inline. Use Save video as on desktop or the browser download/share menu on mobile.
Can I download an expired Medal link?
No. Once the source link expires or the owner removes the clip, a downloader cannot restore it.
